Mr Vineet Verma |
Vineet started his career in 1980 with the Royal Calcutta Turf Club, one of the oldest and renowned thoroughbred horse racing institutions in the world. He served the Club till June 2003 having officiated in various capacities culminating in his appointment as its Secretary & CEO in the year 1993. He was also two times the Secretary General of the Turf Authorities of India. He was later invited by Bengal Ambuja to join them as CEO, Bengal Ambuja Metro Dev. Ltd that developed the well-known ‘City Centre’ at Salt Lake, Kolkata. He was actively involved in several Chambers of Commerce in Kolkata including CII, ICC, Young Leaders forum, Bengal Chamber of Commerce etc. He was also the Member, Governing Body of Concern for Calcutta, a leading NGO in West Bengal. Vineet is presently the Executive Director, Brigade Hospitality Services Ltd. BHSL is a Brigade Group enterprise involved in the setting up and management of Hotels, Serviced Apartments, Clubs and Convention Centers. He is on the Management Committee of Bangalore Chamber of Industry & Commerceand Chairman of its Expert committee on Tourism, Media & Leisure. He has also a Member of Karnataka Tourism Vision Group constituted by the Government of Karnataka.
He is now “Chairman” of No Hungry Child Advisory Board. He brings with him varied experiences and has volunteered his services understanding the seriousness of underprivileged children’s death due to "hunger". He has come forward to extend his whole hearted support to strengthen the Management Team of No Hungry Child and ensure that the organization comes closer to achieving it’s vision “No child should go to bed hungry”. |
Dr. Nagendra Swamy,

In his new post as president, he will oversee development of Manipal Hospitals and he will be spearheading the brand building and expansion exercise for Manipal Group of Hospitals, across India.
Ever since he joined the Group in 2005, he has been at the forefront of striving to achieve clinical excellence in all healthcare delivery services for the group which saw a quantum jump in revenues in the last 5 years. He encouraged the medical tourism and helped to consolidate the cluster concept in the Bangalore region. He also actively participated in achievement of the NABH accreditation for the hospital. He spearheaded the clinical trials, stem cell therapy activities, homecare and established the integrated development centre for GE, preferred clinical research centre for Pfizer and entered into a research partnership with Philips. He was awarded ‘Distinguished Alumni’ by Manipal University and ‘Doctor's Day Award’ by Government of Karnataka. He has been kind enough to accept our invitation to become "Member" of the Advisory Board of No Hungry Child. |
Mr Keshav Balajee

Keshav Baljee, as the President & Co-Promoter of BSE / NSE listed Royal Orchid Hotels Limited, had driven the expansion process of the group, starting from 6 to nearly 20 hotels, thereby making the group a nationally recognized brand. He not only designed the group’s ambitious expansion strategy, he was also instrumental in turning the group into a hotel development company from an operating one. He was also responsible for the various Finance, PR, IT and Marketing initiatives within the organization.
Keshav is an alumnus of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, the Engineering School (Computer Engineering), University of Pennsylvania, and the Indian School of Business (ISB, Hyderabad). He has graduated with honors at all the above institutions. He has also worked as an Investment Banker with Lehman Brothers and UBS in the M&A department. His experience with Royal Orchid Hotels led him to conceptualize Spree Hotels – the first hospitality brand designed for the evolved, modern global traveler to India. Spree will incorporate things Keshav is passionate about – modern decor, a full service-focus, cutting edge technology, and a deep respect for the environment. |

Mr.S.B.M.P. Halakatti has around 32 years’ experience in manufacture of Pharmaceutical products. Out of this he has worked 18 years in Finished Dosages, 13 years in API facilities as Head of Corporate QA and RA Affairs Department. Worked in companies who have Global presence and in highly regulated markets.
Handled multiple locations and integrated quality systems among all sites. He is a part of success story in Granules India from early 2009 to till date. He was also directly responsible for obtaining GMP approvals from US,EU, AU etc. Mr.Halakatti has been one of the regular Donors of No Hungry Child Programme since last 4-5 Years. His past assignments have been with Sri Krishna Group (Sri Krishna Pharmaceuticals and Sri Krishna Drugs Limited), Gilman Laboratories Pvt Limited, Intraven Pharmaceuticals. He is resident of Hyderabad. Being in the Pharmaceutial Industry, Mr Halakatti has come forward to extend his support in health care facilities such as obtaining support from pharmaceutical companies for medicines, nutritional products to No Hungry Child children as required. The medicines will be obtained free of cost as far as possible for children who may fall sick. He has happily agreed to help our organization in this manner. |
